AGLOCO Tip No 1: members get online shopping commissions

It is quite a while since I’ve been writing about AGLOCO on this blog. You may wonder what AGLOCO has to do with AllTipsAndTricks. So I decided to start a mini-series of posts called “AGLOCO Tips and Tricks”.

AGLOCO Tip No 1:

If you are an online shopper, then this is for you. AGLOCO officials say that the members will be credited with commissions for shopping online. This will be possible with the help of the Viewbar: by keeping it active during your shopping sessions, it will collect some commissions from your purchase and send them directly into your account. This is from the official AGLOCO site:

“The AGLOCO Viewbar software will be capable of sensing when you are making the type of purchase for which AGLOCO has a revenue sharing program (and by potentially directing you to that partner if you are not already on their site). If you make a purchase, the Viewbar will collect the commission from that purchase. Initially, this revenue may be added to the general AGLOCO revenue pool for expenses and Member distribution, but eventually a sizeable percentage for that revenue will go directly into the Member’s account. Thus, the more a Member buys, the more money will be put into his or her account in addition to regular AGLOCO income. Without the Viewbar, that commission would simply not be paid, or might go to someone else.”

more:

“This is one way in which you (as a regular Member) make extra money, and with AGLOCO it will be automatic. It’s like your Internet purchases being made by a cash-back credit card, where the Viewbar automatically picks up when you are eligible for this cash back. So, besides having an active Viewbar on your desktop, you will not need to take any action to collect this money.”

The Viewbar has not been launched yet, but the members are working on building the AGLOCO network right now. I am an AGLOCO member, and I’m happy I joined the network in its early stage. I love online shopping, because it saves me a lot of time, so I’m even happier that I’ll get some money back out of this shopping passion of mine.
If you are an online shopper, and you want to be part of a fast growing community, I invite you to join my AGLOCO network and start spreading the word now. It’s completely free and it takes two minutes.

Thank you for your time and see you in AGLOCO!

I don’t think for one moment that Agloco is any kind of scam but don’t you think the lack of firm information about payment values and dates is a little frustrating?

Will the fact that you are being ‘paid’ to shop online via the toolbar influence where you purchase from?

Hi Scam, I don’t know what to say. This article was written before they launched the viewbar. Now, at two months since launch, I’m starting to think that they are not so professional. I’m not saying it’s a scam, but rather a failed online startup.

Regarding your second question: for some purchases, such as hosting and domains, I would stay with my current suppliers and buy directly from them, as usual. For other purchases, I might choose to buy via the viewbar if the discount would be really attractive (which I doubt).
