Aim Clear. Be A Winner
You read a lot of blogs every day. You agree or disagree with what people write, you argue, you fight for your opinions. How often do you think at the person behind a blog? How is life for this author who obviously dedicates a significant part of his time to put his ideas in the shape of a blog? Is he happy? Is he healthy?
I admit I was not very concerned with people behind blogs. I just read them and sometimes commented on, or maybe wrote a post about them. Until this morning, when I opened Sphinn and the first headline that captured my attention was I Was Diagnosed With Stage 3B Lymphoma. Given the fact that Sphinn people can’t stand spam and off-topic submissions (not to mention that the link was on the front page, with a lot of votes), I followed the link, to see what’s the connection between search marketing and lymphoma. The connection was Marty Weintraub, internet marketing specialist, author of AimClearBlog, a search marketing blog for in-house, agency, advertising and PR professionals.
The article shares Marty’s fight with cancer, and his hardly obtained victory. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society supported Marty and his family all along this painful journey. Now Marty wants to give back: next week Internet Marketers of New York (IMNY) is sponsoring a charity event to benefit The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Marty will be there, and he is asking all his blog readers to spread the word (and the link love) about this event.
