I want to introduce you Anca Parghel, great musician who passed away this week, at the age of 51. She was suffering from cancer since long time ago, yet she decided to go on with her career, as if nothing was ever wrong with her health.
Anca Parghel was one of the greatest Romanian jazz singers of all times. I remember how her concerts awakened my interest for this kind of music, which my parents never liked, so I can’t say I grew up with.

Isn’t it interesting how your parents wouldn’t let you listen to jazz. And now I hope my daughter doesn’t get hooked on the modern Britney-type garbage

Indeed, she had a golden voice, her music made me feel great and I was always in the mood of listening to her music. It’s a shame that all great artists are passing away and nobody new takes their place to fill in the blanks. She’ll bring the light back to our souls when hearing her music again in heaven!
