When Cats Think It’s All Fun And Games

Cat hugs ratsWelcome everybody, bloggers or not bloggers, cats or humans, parents or children, to our new edition of 1001 Cats Blog Carnival. We have news and stories for you all.

The fall is here, and cats don’t like to fall. This is what claws are for, isn’t it? Maybe I should have illustrated this carnival with a photo of my shoulders decorated with love (and lots of scratches) by my tiny Russian Blue sweetie who thought I was a tree she had to climb. Or maybe I should have posted the movie featuring me chasing her through the house with the water gun. I bet she thought we were playing! Too bad nobody was there to hold the camera.

OK, enough with my naughty gray toy, let’s see who’s sharing stories with us today:

Blue Skelton presents The Stray Cat Strut posted at Blue Skelton Publications. This is the funny story of a bored, creative big cat, who thought to offer some free entertainment to humans, and ended up by almost losing his personal freedom.

Roger Baillargeon presents a very comprehensive guide of Cat Care Support-Resources-Solutions posted at ” ‘Pictures of Cats ” Lovers. If you consider getting yourself a cat, read this and you’ll know what you need to prepare before you bring it home, how much various items cost per year (it’s amazing, but litter costs more than food) and what medical care your cat needs.

Abbey presents Cat & Rat Introduction posted at DSM Fish Gal, saying, “My cat met my new rats. Photos are also included on the blog, which are adorable I might add. Thanks!” The photos are great (I hope all protagonists are still well and happy). Actually the photo I’ve chosen to illustrate this edition of the 1001 Cats carnival comes from Abbey (thank you very much ;) ).

Our last submission for today is brought to you by Ferdinand T. Cat, who presents The Camera Climb posted at Conservative Cat. Ferdinand is a wise cat and although he feels sorry for The Other Cat, now ke knows how cameras taste like (pay him a visit to see if he enjoyed that).
