Who Needs MBA Programs?
MBA Programs are an attraction for many young people looking to complete their formal education. Why young people? Simply because after a certain age, and after accumulating several years of practice in a domain, one feels that he knows so many things from experience, that theory would not be able to add anything to his skills or to his performance.
However, young entrepreneurs may find MBA programs to be a real help in their attempt to “feel” or to “smell” the particular market they want to become an authority in. MBA programs, if properly researched and designed, can offer them the practice and the skills, without all the risks that come from real life learning from experience.
The choice of programs can be very generous, serious schools of business and management like Pepperdine University in Southern California offer both full time and part time programs, to make them available to a broad range of people. For example, even full time employees can follow such an MBA program, which would not interfere with their job. If they don’t end up exhausted, those students will be able to make a living and complete their education in the same time.
An MBA program graduated from a recognized university can bring in long term benefits, such as the possibility of a better negotiation of one’s salary and fringe benefits package. As not all of us are too good at making a living online, higher education can be another way of increasing life quality by aiming for higher career objectives.
